Why hello there!

So initially this blog started out as a blogsale but I came across a video today that was definitely worth mentioning. I actually posted it to a bunch of friends via Facebook and decide to share this on here as well. Why not be more informative, right? Below is the message I sent to friends.

Hey everyone,

So some of you, I actually haven't spoken to in quite some time. Might be a bit random to hear from me...
But I saw this and thought it was important/worthwhile enough to post to you guys. Please take the time to watch this. Ironically enough I just bought a new sunscreen this past weekend before seeing this video.
I've done the beaching with out sunscreen, the tanning oils, tanning beds, sun tan lotion etc. and I actually totally regret it. I once got so severely burnt (my whole backside) that it was actually so painful I couldn't even sleep.
Anyways, just wanted you guys to be aware and be sure to get yourself checked up regularly as I know some of you like to frequent the outdoors or enjoy tanning. That's all.

Back to my post. Here is my proof that I actually picked up a high SPF sunscreen. 50 SPF!!

This particular one is from Kiehl's (a brand I've been frequenting often). Not that high but still higher than most sunscreens I've picked up for a daily routine for sure. The highest I've ever used before was probably SPF 70-85 from Neutrogena and only when I was on vacation.
I have to admit, I am not a big fan of Neutrogena skincare products. As they usually broke me out even though I've had dermatologists recommend it to me. But I do however think their products for suncare are actually pretty good for the price and it's highly accessible through drugstores and places like wal-mart.
If you know anything about me, I can't stand anything too greasy or oily to touch on my skin for long periods of time. But the Neutrogena sunscreens are actually bearable. I've tried the ultimate sport ones, the ultra sheer dry touch ones for both face and body just to name a few.
I wanted something different and lighter in weight for the face, but still with a greater SPF than what a foundation with SPF would offer. I will probably do a review on this Kiehl's product later. Wish me luck! For the most part, all the Kiehl's products I have tried to date are fantastic. I would highly recommend this brand.

bye now! :)
